    This class was tough.

He was a good teachers and willing to spend the time necessary in order for the class to understand the material.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course were the weekly quizzes because they helped prepare you for your tests.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I recommend challenging yourself.

    Course highlights:

I gained the knowledge of graphing parabolas without a calculator, the instantaneous rate of a flying bird, and how to calculate a carbon footprint. But all of those things didn't matter because most importantly I learned to think for my self because of my amazing professor didn't want to just create societal robots who only know how to modify algorithms.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen carefully and create your own standards

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course only because its a prerequisite for calculus, but it does prepare you for going into pre-calculus II. Also includes intensive preparation for analytic geometry and calculus.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is that she offers extra credit! Mrs. Jones is also quite flexible for homework extensions. In this class I learned about functions, matrices, equations, algebraic and transcendental functions, inequalities, systems of equations, and calculator use.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A graphing calculator is a MUST! Helpful advice is class participation! Ms. Jones hands out worksheets in class and she gives extra credit points if you put your work up on the board and explain how you did it to the class. I know speaking in front of people can be frightening, but those points can lift a big weight off your shoulders for when tests come around. Also save all the worksheets he hands out because at the end of the semester extra credit points are given if they are turned in. Investing time on homework can make the class easier.
