Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am a massive fan of literature, so this course was a great way to learn to read and analyze classic works. The teacher clearly enjoyed the stories we read and was always enthusiastic in class, finding ways to keep the students interested, encouraging discussion amongst peers.

    Course highlights:

One main skill we worked on during the semester, was close reading. Breaking down writing in order to assess what exactly the author is trying to convey. It is an excellent way to understand complex works that may otherwise seem laborious to analyze.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Simply read the assignments. Getting involved in the works you are reading can be enjoyable. Enjoy the characters and the stories so that when it comes time to discuss the reading, you will have no problem.
