Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Obviously, depending on your major this course could be a great way to learn how we perceive society and the actions of people. The brain, nerve structures, and testing methods seemed to be the focus of this class.

    Course highlights:

I know I learned a lot about how your mind can be structured genetically or from some sort of illness or experience to where you act in certain ways and feel the need to do or not do certain actions. If you enjoy learning about testing for behavioral actions of humans in particular and learning how to unbiasly perform these tests, than this class will be a good fit for you. Also, we learned about how the body processes pieces of information and certain reaction techniques humans perform like fight or flight reaction.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read the textbook multiple times; this class is one where you have to study and understand the material to do well on the test. Make sure to read the test questions all the way through. As the time goes by, more free response questions appear on the test, so be ready to answer questions in your own words.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course wasn't all that difficult, for every exam you could have 1 page of notes hand written front and back. That was a life saver, and not many professors do that, so if you're not a good note taker and need to take psych i suggest you become one and get an easy grade.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were definitely the chapter on mental illnesses as in depression and anxiety and thins of that nature. She is very thorough with her powerpoints, but she does stay on one subject for a significantly long amount of time. If this class wasn't at 8 am i think i wouldve done a lot better.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your syllabus and if you don't like how something was graded and think you deserve a better grade, talk to her and she will help you out.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Beth was incredibly kind and supportive, and she made sure to make the material accessible and understandable. She works with students to make sure they can pass.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed learning about the basics of psychology. It just skimmed the surface of the many different kinds of psychology, but I found that I could use what I learned in class to explain things I saw in everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes in class and be polite. She makes it nearly impossible to do poorly, but don't take advantage of her. If you have a question, ask. Contribute to the class discussions to make a good impression.
