Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This course was very intensive, and sometimes hard to manage. However, it covered all the units necessary to become a competent teacher, with the focus on applying the knowledge in real life/ classroom situations. The course I coordinator, Dr Jennifer Shand was very professional and dedicated to supporting students.
In my opinion, besides major and minor areas of teaching, two core units were DTL (Discovery, Teaching, Learning) and Teaching Context. I learned a lot about the development of children, and the way they learn, as well as very useful teaching strategies. In Teaching Context, we focused on legal duties and on management of behaviour.

Advice for students:
I would recommend the elective units Learning Difficulties and Assessment, as the units are very interesting and the assessment is not rigorous. You need to attend tutorials and lectures, and to start studying from day one, as the assessment schedule is quite tight.
