    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As a graduate student, the accelerated course was a godsend. Although combining two years into one is very difficult, having a year less of study is so nice.

    Course highlights:

This course covers the basics of normal animal anatomy and physiology, infections and the body's responses to them, and animal husbandry. It prepares students for clinical years by teaching how animals work when they are healthy.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work very hard. You need to begin serious studying right at the beginning of the year. If you put it off, you will have a very difficult time catching up.
