    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course challenges yourself as a writer and critical thinker.

    Course highlights:

This course was designed around black female authors who wrote about their struggles in society. I love reading works by Alice Walker and Nikki Giovanni.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Please read the assigned material before going to class. Don't just look at the the pages, but annotate and really try to be a critical reader. Be willing to participate in class discussions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is challenging, but it does help you become a better writer. Theirs a lot of rules to writing that our previous teachers never taught use, so we are initially walking around thinking we're great writers, but we are not even touching the peak of upper level writing.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the essays, I learned that I have bad organization skills in writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to make mistakes, that's what their their for to teach you.
