    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is to a very interesting class. It is long and dragged out. It is not a class where you could sit and understand by just listening.

    Course highlights:

Honestly nothing much. I learned about prisoners dilemma and the genocide of Rwanda. Nothing stood out.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take it unless you have to. If you have Oleg Smirnov as a professor I recommend, either dropping the class or switching professors. He has a very strong accent and is very hard to understand which makes it very difficult for audio learners. He also is not very great at explaining topics or any questions.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was so enriching in terms of identification of key foreign issues and the way it affects interactions between countries.

    Course highlights:

Perhaps one of the biggest highlights of this course is learning the effects that one interaction a country has with another can affect or raise a lot of tension within another. Moreover, these interactions are key to foreign policy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My best advice would be to take this class as something more than a requirement because it is more than just that. I took this course as a tool, an enhancer to my analytical skills. This course pushes you to take a look outside the American government, encouraging you to do research on other countries and their impact on the United States or United States allies. It is an awesome knowledge and point of view enhancer. Now more basic advice would be to go to office hours and discuss assignment to make the work interesting for yourself and the professor.
