Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This course really helped me get personal with my writing. To help me, I used to read a lot of personal essays in newspapers, any opinion pieces with persuasive or illustrative language. I found that the more I read, the more better my writing became. It is important to read different people's style of writing. I liked that this class had us peer review essays.
Every week you had to write a personal essay (3-5 pages double spaced). We had to write different styles of personal essays but all you needed in terms of research is your own life. You control what you want to reveal, so you don't have to get heavy with personal stories. How you write is more important.
