    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is very informative in terms of the role(s) of political parties in American government. It also made it very easy to understand the more complex aspects of the government.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how/why political parties do certain things, why parties came about in the first place, and why they're important. We also learned about party competition, parties in office, voter psychology and behavior, interest groups, and campaigns.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! The lecture slides are just a very brief outline of what was discussed. If you want the full explanation, you have to go to class. If you miss class, go to the professor's office hours and she'll tell you what you missed. Also, do the readings, even if they bore you to sleep. There will be exam questions on them.
