    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This graduate Computer architecture course is best in terms of Content, Lecturer, and Projects. We were given Sparc V8 processor to simulate using SystemVerilog. It was a semester long project. The course covers state-of-the-art topics like out-of-order superscalar processors and microarchitecture.

    Course highlights:

Processor Design, Computer microarchitecture including interactions among caches, processorts, drams, bus, etc.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This is not an easy course. Most of the grade is dependent on a semester-long project. So, be prepared to work throughout the semester. I would highly recommend Prof. Nima.
