    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because the instructor is very passionate about the subject he is teaching. The class is also very specialized, as it is separate from the regular chemistry sequence, allowing the student to finish chemistry a semester early while still learning at a reasonable pace. The group of students in this course all become one since this is a special sequence, making it feel like a small family that can support each other.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the mechanism portion, which is actually present in every single chapter. I learned about how reactions occur at a molecular level which is never thought about since we only judge what we can see, but mechanisms of reactions at atomic level are so interesting and complex, it makes one wonder what else there is in the field of chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you utilize every resource offered, read the book, go to office hours, print study sheets, do practice exams, watch the lectures online, go to class; use everything, this will help you succeed because this is NOT course you can teach yourself and do well in.
