Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because Dr. Wood is an excellent and very knowledgable professor. He is thorough with his questions which allows you to deeply understand the concepts. He is overall a nice guy and gives you encouraging life advice which I profoundly appreciated.

    Course highlights:

This class was super interesting, I learned a lot about human biochemistry. I learned about how our bodies metabolizes glucose. I learned about the vast amount of glucose our brains use and need to function properly. It was interesting to me that our brains consume ketone bodies once glucose is depleted.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study at least three to four days a week for the best results. You have a week or opportunity for excellence every week. I enjoyed the material from the first half of the class but I was more successful with the second half of the quizzes because they are multiple choice.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Its pretty easy, just expect to spend 2-4 hours on each case study. Two things due every day. About 2 case studies per week. The book is not very helpful.

    Course highlights:

Fast way to get biochem out of the way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Might as well take this class. The professor is super nice and willing to help. If you have a busy life during the summer, DONT take this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a summer-session course, so meeting every week day was helpful when learning the material. Dr. Pryzbala was very informative and easily available for any questions that I had.

    Course highlights:

This course is essential for any pre-med or pre-health majors, and is especially helpful for those studying for the MCAT.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to read the course material ahead of time and have the amino acids memorized early, as you will rely on this heavily later on.
