Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Greek life feels like a big part of campus, but in reality students are able to find success socially with or without it. They do (in general) a lot of good for the community and do host parties, but none of that matters; downtown Athens is mecca, and all students, underage, Greek, not Greek, or grad students, flock there.

    Course highlights:

UGA has one of the strongest football traditions in the country, but there are a number of other sports that UGA dominates in as well, including gymnastics, women's basketball, swimming and diving, and historically baseball. The Ramsey Center is a top-ranked student athletic facility.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want a more ritzy option or are on a tight budget, you can find something for you. The closer to campus and thus downtown, the more expensive it'll get it, so figure out how important quality vs. convenience is when deciding where to live.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I didn't have too many problems last year. But over the summer to get UGA to send the necessary information to KSU for me to receive aid as a transient student was impossible and an unnecessarily long process. This year I had difficulty as while since I was applying under my father instead of mother, and it just made it a long process.

    Course highlights:

I haven't found the campus to be too strict. Yes, there are rules on drinking in dorms, underage drinking drug use, and Honor Code, but those are going to be implemented at every college. Nothing outrageous, everything is fair.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Being a science major is extremely difficult here at UGA. I've taken a chemistry course over the summer elsewhere and it was incredibly easier than here at UGA.I love my apartment and it's very "home-y". The cost and convenience is great and I look forward to coming home everyday.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have recently returned to UGA after almost 30 years. I was so impressed with the quality of the professors and their interest in students. They are approachable and very willing to work with and help the students.

    Course highlights:

I am also impressed with the student body. They are a diverse group of people who are truly interested in their education process and their learning community.I don't really have an opinion here, because I am not involved in Greek life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Overall, I have had a positive experience. It would have helped to have a roommate with a similar major or taking the same courses as me. Most of my teachers were helpful with the exception of one who did not answer my emails and was not present for office hours when I needed help.
