    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is very intriguing and serves as a doorway for an interest in biology. From the basic concepts to complex phenomena of plants and animals, the class is a cornerstone in learning principles of biology and then proceeding

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of biology and also learned to conduct labs and employ theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge. A highlight of this course was learning the fundamentals of life from simple cellular structures to complex organ systems. From this, I began to place events in life in a unique objective perspective.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always make sure you are open-minded and are prepared for the labs and notes. Being organized and having a time-table will enable you to be productive and always aware of how to utilize you time and efforts both in the course and outside.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course! Dr. Armstrong is a very good bio teacher in my opinion, and made the information easier to understand.

    Course highlights:

I like the smaller group sessions with the TA's. Those were very informative and a better forum for asking questions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

READ! Keep up with the reading, that helped me the most!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Greek life feels like a big part of campus, but in reality students are able to find success socially with or without it. They do (in general) a lot of good for the community and do host parties, but none of that matters; downtown Athens is mecca, and all students, underage, Greek, not Greek, or grad students, flock there.

    Course highlights:

UGA has one of the strongest football traditions in the country, but there are a number of other sports that UGA dominates in as well, including gymnastics, women's basketball, swimming and diving, and historically baseball. The Ramsey Center is a top-ranked student athletic facility.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want a more ritzy option or are on a tight budget, you can find something for you. The closer to campus and thus downtown, the more expensive it'll get it, so figure out how important quality vs. convenience is when deciding where to live.
