Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have never felt unsafe on campus or downtown, but you need to be smart, especially if drinking. Athens is relatively safe, but it's not a good idea to walk places alone at night. Almost all incidents occur downtown as a result of alcohol.

    Course highlights:

Although UGA is a huge football school, lots of other sports get a lot of attention too like basketball, gymnastics, baseball, etc. and the sports is really a huge part of what makes UGA so great. A UGA game is a nearly religious experience. Go Dawgs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

it's very expensive (at least for girls) so some people tend to think Greeks are snobs. But it's pretty much that way everywhere- do what you want to do. You'll have a great time here whether you're Greek or not.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Never Too Hard – Receiving financial aid was not hard. They make accessing your "reward" on Oasis very simple and all one really has to do is "accept" the amount needed from loans. The Hope Scholarship is always right below loans which makes it easy to receive.

    Course highlights:

I could apply for scholarships and was simply told "there was nothing they could help me with". I was very discouraged and was beginning to think my transferring to UGA was a mistake! But fortunately, I paid off my debt to the school and am currently looking for scholarships to help out.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Success Is My Goal – I came to the University of Georgia with the idea of success. Every moment I spend on campus I feel like I am doing something good with my life. The students and faculty all contribute to the sensation that the UGA campus has.
