    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was informative; it was, however, too compressed to learn the information fully, and not simply cram before each test. The professor was well-informed on anthropology, and accepted questions during class, but it was not my favorite class of the semester.

    Course highlights:

The group work brought a new element to the normally lecture-based course, and made the lessons fun and engaging. The outside work and readings (aside from the textbook readings) added depth to the surface-level lessons (due to the class being an intro version).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, make sure to do ALL assigned textbook readings, and take thorough notes. Additionally, paying attention during class, studying the professor's powerpoints, and studying book notes will help the student to do their very best in the course.
