    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Supposed to be an easy A for business majors to get science credit out of the way. Box is so old and goes way too fast through slides. He thinks everyone just understands everything immediately. So much information to memorize it is insane. I would study for a week straight and barely make Cs. Ended up with a B somehow, but it was a really hard class that didn't need to be a hard one. Wish I had known to take the other teacher instead of Box. The application of clouds was I swear on every tests even when it had nothing to do with clouds, yet the info about clouds was extremely hard to find so i always just missed those questions. He is a nice guy and a cute old man, but dang, don't put yourself through all this work if you don't care about weather and climate.

    Course highlights:

Highlights were that attendance wasn't mandatory. However, sometimes he made you turn in a paper with your name on it and he would count you present. At end of semester if you had attended more than half of the attendance checks (which were few) and had an average higher than an 80, you were exempt from the final. So luckily, I did not have to go through what would have been an extremely difficult final. I learned really nothing because it all went in one ear and out the other. I would memorize some stuff and barf it out onto a test and forget it all 20 minutes later.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take it with Mr. Box. If you do take it with Box, honestly I don't know what you should do. The third test is only on one chapter and that was the one test I did well on, so look forward to that third test and take it seriously because it is your chance to do well for once.
