    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend taking a course from Dr. Armstrong. At face value, he seems like a great professor, and that's why I took his course, but he actually doesn't teach effectively because he's more concerned with changing the face of his class and advancing learning experiences - believe me, I'm all for that, but I don't appreciate being a guinea pig when I'm trying to learn.

    Course highlights:

The only thing that this course taught me outside of the specified material is not to trust that your professors are going to give you what you need. You need to be completely in charge of your own education.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study from Cambell Biology and not the textbook that Dr. Armstrong recommends.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Armstrong is an amazing professor. His lectures are easily understandable if you looked over the pre-lecture material

    Course highlights:

His exams are mainly based off of lectures, worksheets and all of the videos he posted on ELC. Just take good lecture notes and pay attention to the stuff he posts on ELC and you'll do awesome!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Look over worksheets, LO, and ELC videos. pay special attention to the stuff he repeats in class as they will be on the exam!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was required for my major, but I also took it because I was interested in learning about Biology. The professors are very knowledgeable and helpful. There is homework and reading to do every night and the tests are very straightforward.

    Course highlights:

This course offers a basic understanding of Biology from components of a cell to population genetics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook and complete all of the homework. These are where the lecture topics come from and will allow you to engage in classroom discussions and succeed in this course.
