This class was tough.
Although the subject itself is tough, Dr. Mohnen is simply an amazing professor. She herself is a difficult professor, but she dedicates a lot of effort into making sure that all her students fully comprehend the subject matter.
The highlight of the course was learning how to memorize large portions of information. The course required us to learn the structure and naming of amino acids, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, and lipids. However, Dr. Mohnen is more than proficient in teaching students not only what to memorize but also how to effectively memorize large portions of information.

Keeping up with the material is key. The class itself is very fast paced and failure to go to class and/or pay attention will have a great negative effect on understanding of the material.
