    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you are looking for a course that is easy and gives you a science credit, then take plant biology 1210. This course is for any major, and the professor provides help in understanding the material taught for the exams. The professor holds review sessions before each exam, posts notes online, and even gives the students practice tests with an answer key for students to see how the exams will be like and test how much they know about the material.

    Course highlights:

The plant biology 1210 lecture class is an introductory course to plant biology, so the course covered the basics of biology students have learned previously in middle and high school. The class not only brought photosynthesis, respiration, evolution, mitosis, and meiosis together, but it also taught students about GM's, the parts of a flower, and the reproduction and adaptations of plants. This course was an interesting and fun one that included funny videos shown in class as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though this plant biology course is a easy A, you should study for all the tests. Take advantage of the review sessions, office hours of the professor, and the practice exams. You need to come to class everyday because you are graded on participation and being present.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

For those students who are looking for an easy non-major class that gives you your required science credit, taking plant biology 1210 is your best option. There was a total of four exams in this class that were all 25 questions and multiple choice. The professor posts notes online and holds review sessions for each exam. Practice exams are posted online as well with an answer key to test what you know before taking the actual test. This is very beneficial and taking this class is an easy A anyone can earn with all the help the professor provides.

    Course highlights:

What's really cool about plant biology is how the things you learned in middle and high school on photosynthesis, respiration, evolution, and DNA are brought together and expanded specifically about plants in general. You get to learn about the parts of a flower and the specific hormones that are found in plants and either help or don't help the plants like the hormone auxin as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course may be easy to pass, but going to class everyday matters. You are graded for your participation and for being in class because the professor will make sure you are present. You definitely need to study for the exams, and make sure you take advantage of all the help the professor provides like giving out practice exams and holding review sessions. Always ask the professor questions if you are confused on a topic and need clarification. Take advantage of office hours too.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Lecture style is incredibly efficient, the teacher is willing to work with the students and provides review sessions, and all the notes are posted online. Teacher uses a lot of group activities and even hands on activities, which is unusual for such large lecture classes but it is very effective.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of insight onto not just the plant biology in specific but also into general organic chemistry without the material being to overwhelming.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Mainly I would suggest making sure you are in class, but I highly recommend using the opportunities Dr. Momany presents to involve oneself in her lecture and not just sit back passively, involving yourself in the lecture is a much better way to learn. Also, she goes really fast sometimes, so print out the notes before hand and annotate them to remember better.
