Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is helpful to your real life. You will learn about making important life decisions like whether or not to get married, buying vs renting a home, or even whether or not to have children from a financial perspective.

    Course highlights:

In this class I learned things from Maynes Decision Making Model (maximax, minimax, best of most probable, etc) to calculating everything that goes into buying a home. I also learned many trends in America over time from unemployment rates to inflation.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you print her lecture notes and come to class to get the notes! Also get or borrow a scientific calculator for the math.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor is hard to listen to. Her voice is dull, and she does not make the course interesting or enjoyable. M-W-F courses are obviously easier to sit through because they are shorter. No attendance, but she does answer questions about the test in class and shares imperative information about exams in class.

    Course highlights:

This course was the more difficult due to the professor. She incorporated a lot of math, whereas the other professor that teaches this course does not include. This course made FHCE 3150 a breeze. The challenges that come with this specific professor end up helping the students in the end.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take all the quizzes on time. Go to class- teacher gives tons of extra credit and provides important information about quizzes and exams. Office hours with the TA can help you figure out what you missed on exams. It is important to not get behind, because this course grows off what you learn the previous week.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

A very interesting class to learn about things such as homeownership, insurance, housing and more!

    Course highlights:

It was a very practical class! Tells you stuff you actually need to know in the future!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

She gives you guided notes, so you just have to go to class and fill in the blanks! You don't have to study that much either, it's a lot of common sense. Not tedious at all either since it's information that is useful for everyone's future.
