    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class! Anja was an incredible TA, and she had such enthusiasm for the language and culture that I was infected with the love of Deutsch. I have always enjoyed taking German language classes, but it was during Anja's passionate tutelage that I decided to make German one of my majors. The class was informative and fun, and I could not have asked for a better teacher.

    Course highlights:

We covered a lot of material in this class. We learned several new grammar cases as well as an overwhelming amount of vocabulary. We also buffed up on our German history and learned cultural standards and ideals held by Germans. My favorite unit was discussing holidays in Germany and seeing how our cultures compared.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that students do the online interactive as it is assigned; don't wait until it is due. The interactive is what takes the most time outside of the classroom. I would also say that attendance makes a difference and that an effort should be made to attend every session. Also, study the powerpoint presentations before tests, that is where a majority of material comes from. And finally, establish a solid relationship with the professor or TA. It is a small class, so it is easy to be involved and stand out as a dedicated student.
