    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who has a passion for learning statistics, otherwise stay away. The class was never too busy to handle, but to do well on the exams you need to have a fundamental grasp of the concepts that requires at least daily review of notes and weekly review of concepts. The teacher is very nice and easy to get along with but she is a harsh grader.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the teacher and I thought that she presented the material in an excellent way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend getting into groups to review your homework before turning it in. She is a very harsh grader and if you can make it to her office hours. Unlike Stat 2000 you cannot just understand the "how to" for each problem but you also need to know the "why" and the fundamental ideas behind each concept. The tests are pretty difficult but they are not impossible. The tests aren't too heavy with computation material but they are heavy with the "why" behind the problem if that makes sense.
