    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you love geography, you'll love this class. However it's heavy on reading and the tests aren't too easy. There are 3 tests, but he drops your lowest grade after the final. There are no other grades other than the tests.

    Course highlights:

Porinchu is obviously super passionate about this subject, so it was pretty easy to pay attention most of the time. He really explained confusing subjects well and wasn't upset or bothered to go over them again if you needed more help.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

READ! Get ready to read. If you read before going into the lecture, it is much easier to understand and you can ask more questions because A LOT of the content gets confusing.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because the content was interesting and would challenge students but is also easy to understand and follow in class.

    Course highlights:

From this course, students would learn landforms, weather, rock formation, etc. The class seems to be an overview of science in general. If you did not like one subject in the class, the next week you would be on a different subject.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I did not even open the suggested textbook all semester but I would suggest going to class and taking extensive notes on each subject. All of the tests are based on what the professor says in class and on this powerpoints.

    Course highlights:

Highlights included working with others in the class and conducting experiments

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

If it aligns with your goals, it would be an excellent choice.
