Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Woodall is genuinely dedicated to his students and finds ways to share information in a fashion that his students can understand. From the first day of class, he made an effort to get to know his students (especially their names!), and would build personal relationships throughout the semester by monitoring progress and always being available. He used lots of creative models to demonstrate concepts, and kept us interested throughout the course.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Woodall actually implemented an old school field trip, where we hiked through the Athens Botanical Gardens, and he took us off the trail to show us native rock formations and characteristics of the earth we had been studying. It was incredible to see exactly what had been in our textbooks.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to talk to Dr. Woodall to monitor your progress and keep track of your grades, as he doesn't post them online.

I loved our field trip to look at the local rock formations at the botanical garden. It was awesome to apply the lessons to real life and to really see things as they are in nature.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to study rocks before the quizzes. If you show that you're working hard, he will do his best to help you too.
