Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The courses are interesting and can be fun sometimes. Certain classes are more difficult than others and cause people to struggle, such as the chemistry courses which are much easier at other schools. The plus/minus system is not helpful and hurts your GPA greatly which makes it harder to apply for scholarships.

    Course highlights:

There are a lot of clubs that are really fun and worthwhile. Overall it is a fun school and I could not imagine myself anywhere else.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There are plenty of options for all kinds of people. The high-rises are great for socializing and making friends, if you are willing. Most dorms have programs that offer advice, food and community, The rooms are pretty small and the shower pressure is pretty terrible.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Typically, I have always struggled in science classes, but I thoroughly enjoyed this class. Dr. Patiño passionately teaches this course transmitting her love for geology to her students. I enjoyed learning about our earth, the current struggles it faces, and ways in which we can combat pollution.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of this course were the chapters in which we learned about climate change and ways to stop it. Normally, in some classes, it feels like I am learning information that is not relevant to my everyday life. Climate change, however, does affect me which is why I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the subject.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to show up everyday and pay attention to the lectures. For the quizzes, study these notes and you should be fine.
