    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Recommend taking Kathryn Dye! She is very involved with her students and actually wants you to learn. There are many extra credit opportunities in her class. Quizzes are through eLC and exams are tough but require understanding of concepts covered in lecture.

    Course highlights:

TopHat played a big part in this class. The questions prepared us for the exam. Some of the questions were the same as well. She also encouraged us to talk to one other and share our thoughts so we have an understanding from another's perspective.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The text book helped a lot to understand concepts. Online quizzes are very easy! Attend class daily because she covers some topics in depth. Exams come from lecture, quizzes, and text.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You learn really cool and interesting things if you're into biology. Farmer tries to keep it modern, practical, and has a lot of variety.

    Course highlights:

The coolest parts were applying a new topic to a modern field of study in biology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take really good lecture notes! That's the basis for all the tests, which are highly specific.
