    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is awesome. There may be a bit of reading involved but the stories prove to be gripping and often times make you wish that your life was as epic as these myths.

    Course highlights:

The Greek/Roman gods and goddesses were by far my favorite part of the course. The origin story for these divine figures might be a bit screwed up and demonstrate that we all have daddy issues but are nonetheless amazing. What I learned overall? We all need a bit less hubris in our lives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking this course, here's a piece of advice: DO the readings. The quizzes will be an easy A, and furthermore, the tests will be a walk in the park. Also, DO attend lecture and take notes. Everything the professor covers in lecture is pretty much all the information you need for the test so when it comes time to studying for that test, all you have to do is skim those notes for a rehash and voila preparation for the test complete.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Bianchelli was very enthusiastic about the topic, and made lectures very interactive, which made coming to class and learning a pleasure! The course also was not too difficult, which made it easy to study the topics in more depth for learning pleasure. The course was a large lecture class, but it was difficult to fall asleep in (thankfully)!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were reading the chapters in the main textbook. The main textbook is not written in a normal, boring textbook-style, rather it is written like a very engaging book. I thought i knew a bit about mythology, but this course contextualized classical mythology with cultures of the time, location, famous people, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the assigned chapters and myths! If you keep up with reading (which is not very difficult to do), you will be absolutely fine on every quiz and test. There are no pop-quizzes or pop-tests, so do yourself a favor and keep up with the reading so that you will easily excel in the class!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was very interesting and informative! It was challenging because we had to do mass amounts of reading, however the readings were interesting and the professor was very interested in the coursework and gave easy to follow lectures.

    Course highlights:

This class teaches the basics of mythology, as in the characters/gods, and a mass amounts of the stories that were passed along through Greek and Roman mythology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a good elective course that is not too difficult but does require effort. It is very interesting and you can learn pretty cool things.
