    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry may be difficult, but it's definitely a class where one can achieve an A. It's shown me that I need to work for my grade and shown me how much effort I should put into my school work.

    Course highlights:

The lecture's were occasionally helpful in providing insight into aspects I had never learned or in preparing me for some of the tests. However, I learned that I hold most of the responsibility of teaching myself the material. I'm no longer in high school where my teachers could baby me. If I want to education, I must put in the effort to read my book, practice questions, and study for exams.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course, I suggest understanding the concepts. It's very important to know what information your unit is covering. This will provide a basic ground for your understanding of chemistry. However, one also needs to really grasp the mathematical aspects of chemistry. While chemistry does involve concepts, this course is very math-based and expects students to know how to apply various math equations in problems on the test. I suggest doing all the review questions offered on Mindtap. They've really helped me get through Chemistry.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are going to take chemistry, take it with Ms. Salguero. She is a wonderful teacher, and the way she formatted the class is very beneficial for your grade. Chemistry is very difficult at UGA, and it will require a lot of work no matter who you take it with or when, but Ms. Salguero made it the best she could. She is very personable and always willing to help. Beware of the work load though it's a lot!!

    Course highlights:

I learned to manage my work load really well and how important it is to stay on top of things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Many students in this class get tutors. It requires a lot of out of class work so be prepared!!
