Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved the class when I took it during my first freshmen semester. What I loved the most was how our professor got us engaged with what we learned by creating a "colony" on blog or social media sites like Facebook (like mine) or Tumblr. It was a great class and I'd definitely take more of her classes.

    Course highlights:

For this US History class, we started in the colony days (can't remember the exact year we started at) up to 1864 I think. So we started with before the colonial days, even read one of Christopher Columbus's journals if I remember correctly. I remember reading about other things while going up through the course. We read a little bit about Fredrick Douglas and his journals. Those were interesting to read.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

First thing, every professor teaches their courses differently. What was one thing my professor did was post readings on the course website for our college (CourseDen for anyone not attending UWG), and we'd read them including the chapter(s) in our textbook. After that, we'd post in the daily discussion board that was due a certain day and then we had to post on other students' posts too, pretty much discussing the subject. It was simple if you keep up with everything and put time into it, especially the colony project we had to do.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class goes up and beyond what normal classes go through. Professor Pacholl explains in great detail what he expects and what he teaches. He is always up to help you and genuinely cares about each individual student. He makes this class something that everyone can enjoy.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would have to include the content that was taught, the help that was given, and the overall environment of the class. We were not individuals, but we worked as a team. This course encourages everyone to work to their best ability.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to try your hardest at all times. But ask questions if you are confused. He is very helpful and wants you to succeed.
