Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of how much insight and perspective you get out of it. This is a great course for anyone going into the psychology field because it provides the basics and a general understanding of what psychology is all about and serves as a factor of deciding if you really want to go into the field or not. My professor, Mark Kunkel always made class engaging and interesting. His methods of teaching are unorthodox, yet engages you into the course more than you already are. A few dislike this because Kunkel is all over the place . . literally. However, he has several student aides to host weekly sessions to help students understand his teachings better. The best part is that these sessions are extra credit and will help boost your grade possibly by one letter!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were Mark's life lessons and application of Psychology through his life as well as the lives of musicians and other artists by unraveling the meaning of their lyrics relating to psychology. Mark would also play guitar and share inspiring quotes that made his chapters easier to understand. I learned the importance of self-awarness and how it forms our heuristics, or habits.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend the study sessions, pay attention, and don't listen to memorize, regurgitate and repeat, listen to learn and take in what is being taught.
