    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this class if you are disciplined. Make sure you attend class and pay attention. Attendance is mandatory and is taken with clicker questions at the beginning of every class.

    Course highlights:

This course is fun and interesting because it has a lab with it and you get to experiment with different things. I learned a lot about the the earth and the animals in it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study and attend tutoring sessions because she does move fast and does not slow down.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is mandatory for my major (biology)

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about plantae, plants, animals, and bacteria.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY! STUDY! STUDY! Studying makes all the difference. Read through your notes from beginning to end everyday (mon-fri). Read the assigned reading and stay organized. Going to Dr. Genz office hours to go over your exams are also helpful to retain the info you learned.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class if bio is for you. This class was fun and fairly easy. The labs were for your benefit and to help you understand the notes. This BioL class did have quizzes everytime we had that class. I only had that class once a week so I had a quiz every week. If you don't pay attention in this class than you will be lost and not understand the lab and the quiz.

    Course highlights:

I've gained so much in this course. Bio in college and Bio in high school are so much different. Bio in college is more complex than highschool. In this class I've found out that missing one class and mess you up and make you not prepared for the test that was being given. Always go to class and if you cant make it, than email your teacher and let them know and always get the notes from someone that was in the class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always pay attention to the notes and STUDY. Always show up to class on time. Being late can cause you to miss something that was said. It's better to be early than late. If you do miss a class than email your teacher and let them know. It's always good to have someones number in that class so you and get what you have missed and ALWAY come to class prepared. Not having the material needed for that class is just like not being in class.
