    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very caring, and wants everyone to pass. The cores also is very hands on and makes chemistry fun to learn about.

    Course highlights:

Moles! Learning about converting moles and being able to solve problems that seem complicated, were some of the highlights of this course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study. The curse is not the easiest, but it is very rewarding when the hours put in are shown through the grades made.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it forces students to come together to get work done and make study buddies. Their will not be a student that you have not communicated with throughout the semester.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the lab. I learned many new elements that I know I will see in the future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not become intimidated by the work load because it is massive! The only way to survive workshop is to COMMUNICATE! A class that participates together graduates together.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Not only is this course a requirement for nursing majors, but it is a great building block for any chemistry or biology class you may have to take.

    Course highlights:

The professor prints out every chapter for the students to follow along with her powerpoints. We learned everything from the labeling of the periodic table to acids and bases to molar conversions, and much more!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to study!!! Always go to any offered tutoring and even seek out extra tutoring if you struggle at all. Take everything slow and don't overwhelm yourself, always ask for help because they want you to succeed!
