    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it's very interesting. You learn about different cultures and it helps to become more open-minded about the world in general. It helps you become more sensitive to others and not so ignorant.

    Course highlights:

Being fresh out of high school and growing up in a small town I thoroughly enjoyed learning about other cultures. Things that I thought were weird and "why do people do that" became clear because I was taught why and the deep meaning behind various aspects of other cultures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to pay attention. There are many cultures to learn about so not a lot of time is spent on any one. Take plenty of notes.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is an awesome professor who is very knowledgeable and willing to work with her students. She really cares about her students and if you are willing to work hard, she is willing to help you. I really love how well spoken she was when she lectured and how excited she was to teach. You could see how passionate she was about the subject.

    Course highlights:

To me, the highlights of the class was learning the evolution of human beings. There were various peoples before us such as the neanderthals. I also really enjoyed learning about the !Kung who are a foraging society in Africa.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes! Her tests come straight from her power points and lectures. She also gives pop quizzes and she allows you to use your notes. If you take good notes, an A is easy.
