    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course if it does not have anything to do with your major. Classes like these are only for people who are really passionate about the subject.

    Course highlights:

This highlights of his course were always the demonstrations that the professor used to try and help his students understand more of what his slideshows were stating.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell future students to take all advantages on the extra credit that he offers, always got to the study groups that are set for each week and if you are having any problems to speak with the professor himself.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was very interesting and you will learn concepts you never considered when thinking of astronomy.

    Course highlights:

Professor Sterling was very helpful and was always upbeat during class. He made astronomy a delight! It didn't hurt that if you did all the homework and were happy with your grade that he let you opt out of the final!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the online homework and pay attention in class.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Even though I took this class online, I loved it and I would definitely recommend it. My professor was very helpful if I needed him and was quick to respond to my emails.

    Course highlights:

It was a lot of material to learn but it was very interesting most of the time. Majority of the work was homework, but I still learn a lot. A couple of things I learn were where astronomy fits in the spectrum of science, how astronomers measure and study objects all over the universe, the solar systems, stars, galaxies, large scale structures in the universe, and cosmology among other things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My biggest advice I can give students is to make sure you do your homework. Homework really counts in this class. Not only does the homework help you learn the material, but it also counts for a nice percentage of your grade.
