Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Boatright is very knowledgable in the subject of chemistry and isn't hard to understand in his teaching. He has a lot of material to cover in CHEM 1212, so the pace is fast, but he does the best he can to help you understand. I loved this course because there is so much math, but if that is not an easy subject for you, you will have to work for a good grade.

    Course highlights:

I learned that there are many ways to solve a problem and it does not matter how you get to the right answer as long as you do. I also learned that you can logically think about math. If the answer you get doesn't make sense, chances are that it isn't right.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to do homework and be ready to practice more than just the problems he gives you. While I didn't always read the textbook chapters, I always did the end of chapter problems for practice.
