Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking ACED 2400 (Computer Technology For The Workplace) with professor Quinn she covers all material needed for you to take the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification and she also helps when you don't fully understand the material.

    Course highlights:

What I learned in this course is how to properly use Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Access. These are programs that many employers use in the everyday office environment. Access was the hardest for me to grasp but with each module showing me how to use the program I now know how to properly set up a database.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice each Module everyday to be proficient in every aspect of Microsoft Office. Once this course is completed you are elgible

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course for getting more familiar with the various programs available on your computer. I learned a great deal about applications like Microsoft Word and Excel that I can and will use in the future.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the tutorials and practice sessions offered through the online textbook access. It gave great opportunities to learn more about each program without the pressure to not make mistakes that I would experience with a quiz or test.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go through the tutorials and practice examples in the book. They will help tremendously on the tests. Also, don't forget to read the fine print! Some test questions ask about material in those sections.
