Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a mandatory course and I am not a huge fan of Lit, BUT I would recommend this course with Dr. Looper. She is absolutely wonderful and makes a subject that I find difficult to be quite enjoyable. Her passion for what she teaches makes her students WANT to learn.

    Course highlights:

The readings. I don't like mandatory readings, but Dr. Looper hand picks some wonderful literature from local authors and creates fun assignments for you to dig deeper into the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study study study. Read in a timely manner. I'd recommend setting a schedule for the readings.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Looper never gave us busy work. She would always help a student one on one if they were struggling or just wanted to improve. Also, she never gave us an assignment without being specific on what she expected, so our grades never suffered on her account.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to eliminate "Grendel," which his her word for fluff. Also, the highlight was our interviews of elders from the community on what they think happiness is from their experiences throughout their lives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate on your essays! They are not hard if you do a little at a time!
