    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Your grade is from the exams. The exams were very difficult and try to trick you more than test your knowledge on the subject. Make sure to start studying early and go to class.

    Course highlights:

    Can't really think of any highlights. This course has been super stressful on my GPA.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    STUDY STUDY STUDY. Do plenty of practice problems and go to class.

    Laney is the best professor you ever will have. Ever. No doubt.

    I learned the importance of the time value of money and how to work a financial calculator.

    Get a financial calculator and be prepared to draw timelines!

    Course Overview:

    It is a required course but it is the basics of Finance and anyone who is interested in finance should take this course.

    Course highlights:

    Present and Future Value were huge in this course. A financial calculator is needed and can be used on every problem. I learned about cash flows, and predicting future values. This is the basics of Finance for business majors.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    You will absolutely need a financial calculator, it will become your best friend. Learn how to use the calculator correctly and you will be successful in this course. It is all formulas so learn the formulas and know why and when to use them.
