Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have received very constructive feedback from the professor and the course is available online.

    Course highlights:

A huge highlight is curriculum design, which is integrative approach to looking at psychological disorders. Additionally, the assignments require critical thinking and synthesis in the form of short essays each chapter. For anyone looking to study or work in the field of counseling or psychotherapy especially, this course gives you the opportunity to think like a counselor.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write. Take good notes as you read the chapters. The information is nuanced and very detailed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is challenging but enjoyably so. The text we used is takes an integrative approach, which is in line with the current trends in the practice of clinical psychology. I feel like I am well prepared for higher level studies in this subject.

    Course highlights:

An integrative approach when discussing various disorders and treatments. There is a focus on historical traditions in psychology, exploring the trajectory, benefits, and consequences of the different approaches.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the text thoroughly, taking detailed notes. Read the summaries both in moodle as well as in the text. Take your time and be thorough on the written assignments.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Overall, this was a great class. Gros is really engaged in teaching and offers extra bonus points, which really helps towards the end of the semester. This is an easy A or B class if you attend class, take notes and pay attention!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning about all of the disorders. I learned a lot about different symptoms and how they affect a person's personality.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise to attend class weekly since it is only once a week. I would also recommend paying attention and taking notes.
