    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Well, Dr. Hawkins has retired, but the class is cool if you feel like the psyc curriculum could use more biological background. An important and necessary break from theories. It is difficult. I think it counts as graduate credit?

    Course highlights:

The lectures broke down very complex processes in understandable ways but it doesn't cut corners. I sat there with little background in biology, next to a friend with a strong BIOL background and I did not feel behind.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is hard if you're looking for a filler elective. It was a challenge, at least to me. Do not miss a lecture if you can help it. Make a friend in there. Take pictures of the diagrams on the powerpoint with your phone and listen along rather than try to draw it in your notes.
