Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I put 4 stars because I havent gone through the entire course yet, but as far as I have gone, I enjoy it! Dr. Chauvin is a great teacher and she knows how to make the course interesting.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Chauvin is a criminologist, and that is what I'm majoring in (Sociology with a concentration in Criminology). Even though it is an intro course I learned a few things regarding criminology as well as some interesting things about sociology. But ultimately I learned to question everything because a good sociologist makes the familiar strange.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class because you miss out on a lot of information thats not in the textbook.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Overall, it was a very good course to take. The material was somewhat easy but very interesting, and Gremillion does a great job of keeping you're attention. I would highly recommend it, whether you need credit for a social science or as an elective.

    Course highlights:

From this course I gained knowledge of many social theories and of those people who created them. I also learned quite a lot of the terminology used in sociology.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, take decent notes, and review a few days before each exam and you should do fine.
