    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Pollock will go over every little details about the topics that you'll need to know for the exam. The exam are extremely tough unless you know everything about the topics we learned in class. Most of my big class failed the first exam, while I manage to get through with a 72.2. As an engineering student at LSU, I almost don't carer enough to spend too much time for biology but this guy really got me studying. He also doesn't pot too much notes on moodle so mostly what you learn from the class will be up to you GOING TO CLASS and TAKING NOTES. External sources are also useful. Text books and Khan Academy help tremendously. Most people don't like him because the test is harder than it has to be but that's how you know you are getting your money worth. Just so you know, I hate Biology, I despite it. However Dr. Pollock really makes it fun and you're gonna start liking it a lot more as you continue on with his class. Highly recommended if you're highly motivated and want to get your money worth. You would not like him if you want an easy A in Bio.

    Course highlights:

I think this course teaches me more than just biology. Discipline is the key to success. Bio is fun as it can be broken down to small little chemical compounds that controls by physics (the real stuff I'm interested in). I learned a lots.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not skip class!! Take down notes, everything he said or just simply pay attention VERY WELL. Do not get in there with a PC or Mac and get on IG b/c that's wack. (no puns intended :) )
