    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is a very basic sociology class and is good for understanding key terms and people who established the concept of sociology. It's also good to just have an understanding of how our society functions

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about social stigmas, and social classes, and basic economics

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This particular professor allows a test cheat sheet, but it doesn't ean that you shouldn't still study and review to make sure you fully understand the material

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

SOCL 2001 is not the most interesting class, nor is it essential to my futue career path. It's simply an introduction to the world of sociology. However, it is my favorite course I've taken since I arrived at LSU.

    Course highlights:

Chauvin is one of the best teachers I've ever had in my academic career. She gave life to the class. Sh can make anything seem interesting. The informal tone of the class gave it such an easy-going vibe that I never once missed a class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY. The class is only as hard as you make it. I made a set of flashcards before every exam. It doesn't take much effort. As long as you're willing to put in some kind of effort, you're golden.
