Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Good course and something all petroleum engineers should know

    Course highlights:

Studying different kinds of logs to determine wheather the formation is a sand or shale formation. Also teaches you how to interpret logs to see where your potential pay zone may be and the thickness of said zone.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to look over old quizzes and exams for the tests. Don't rely on the study guide too much since he dosen't always pull questions from there.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is great for people that are really interested in the oil industry and want to have a more in-depth knowledge of well-logging. If you just want to know enough to pass the class and don't really care about all the in-depth stuff, then don't take this class with Dahi.

    Course highlights:

History of some of the logging tools. How to log oil wells and interpret data. How the different tools function and how to use them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go to class. He says a lot of things that may not be in his notes. Also make sure you remember as much of the material you've covered at any given time, he considers everything to be fair game at any given point.(that includes tests and quizzes)
