    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Brininstool is an excellent professor. Her tests are completely from the power point, so if you study in advance and memorize it, you're guaranteed an A.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of microbiology that gave me the fundamentals to succeed in harder courses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study in advance! Studying a little bit everyday helps not get overwhelmed by the information

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is very passionate about the class, but it can be difficult if you don't prepare in advance. The final isn't cumulative so thats a plus, but each test has a lot of material on it. Don't save studying for the last minute. The lab was actually harder than the lecture class. DO NOT skimp on studying for the lab midterm and final.

    Course highlights:

not too much homework, focused on a lot of human diseases caused by microbes at the end of the semester which was interesting for me

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study for at least a week for each exam. Cramming isn't effective because he has a lot of applied/multiple answer questions on his tests. GO TO CLASS! Gives a lot of bonus in class and a few in class assignment that you could not makeup
