Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The only reason I have given Ms. Welker a four star rating is because this is a lot of on your own reading to fully understand textile science concepts. I am a freshmen in this class and for me this was a quickly moving class and some concepts I felt should have had more explaining. However, Ms. Welker is a very knowledgable teacher of the textile industry.

    Course highlights:

This was my first TAM course for my major, which is Fashion Merchandising. I have to say I have learned a ton of information that I will use in every other course after this and in my career one day. Over all this is a very informative class, but the class is strictly notes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You do not need to print her outlines for each chapter. I would suggest highlighting along in your book or I wrote notes on looseleaf and rewrote them after every class which helps me learn quicker and more effectively. Never skip class! Attendance counts!
