    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because Dr. Crowe makes Organic I and Organic II click in students minds.

    Course highlights:

This is a difficult class; however, with a professor who always wants to help, along with wonderful SI sessions, completing this class allows students to have a heightened sense of self worth.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do not have determination to study and be the best student you can possibly be this is not a course for you. Anything worth having requires hard work regardless of the difficulty level.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course itself isn't as hard as it could be. Dr. Crowe extends the grading scale dramatically to make success attainable.

    Course highlights:

Scott, the SI leader, is the highlight of this course. He will teach you every reaction, mechanism, and synthesis idea you struggled with in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to spend a lot of time in SI sessions to learn how to do the work.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Davila is an amazing teacher. My organic I teacher did not do as great of a job in class so when I had to study for the test, I found myself trying to teach myself and study at the same time. With Dr. Davila, he keeps the class's attention the full 1.5 hours and teaches so well and thoroughly that when it comes time to study, I don't have to teach myself. I can focus all my energy on working problems until I have a clear and deep understanding.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Davila is an excellent teacher. We learn about reactions with benzene rings and so much more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your work and start studying at least 1 week before the test.
