    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course to people adjusting to LSU since the course is quite easy. However, most of the students did not come to class and found the material to be very boring. On the other hand, I, myself, found GEOL 1001 to be quite interesting since I have always be fascinated by Geology. The only thing I wish I knew about before taking the class was the time-consuming homework due online every Sunday night at 11:59 pm.

    Course highlights:

This course focused on the processes that occur overtime on earth, how certain rocks are formed, as well as the inside of the earth.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell the students to always read the textbook since that is where most of my learning took place.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class. I think it was a great background on general geology and I can actually use some of this knowledge in the future, in a multitude of different careers.

    Course highlights:

I loved all of the sketches we got to use. I think it was a lot more interesting and made many of the concepts easier to understand.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go to class! It makes it a lot easier to keep track of all the sketches and I find it easier to study come test day.
