    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is not your typical sophomore English. You have an international service learning partner to meet with 9 times during the semester. You have regular essays throughout the course and service learning blogs to complete every couple of meetings.

    Course highlights:

I've learned a lot about my partner's country and myself as an American. I'd advise an student to take this course with Professor Christina Armistead. She's very helpful and has an ample amount of office hours to help you when you're stuck.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours and never skip your appointments. Manage your time so that you can meet with your partner once a week, and be very open minded. You'll be surprised at the things you'll discover taking this course.
