    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Attendance is not required, but he will do extra credit or bonus quizzes sometimes. His class is VERY beneficial. He will put your multiple choice questions in his lecture for the following test. He will work problems during lecture that pertain to the next exam. His class is tough, but it is manageable if you go to class and do the homework. Try to get a hold of old material such as quizzes and exams. You have the opportunity to get points back on your exam if you go see him during office hours. I strongly recommend students to get to know El Kholy , especially if you are doing well in the class! He loves people that do well in his class.

    Course highlights:

This course is called Statics, and it deals with civil engineering. You learn all about forces acting on objects that are mainly standstill, but when you get to friction they are moving objects. It is very important to go to class even if he doesn't take attendance. He works through important problems that you will most likely see again, or a variation of. Write down any of the multiple choice questions from lecture because they will be on the first exam!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Old material such as tests, and quizzes are very helpful, but I got an A in the class without any of that. Rework the homework problems and the problems from lecture because you will see them again. I got a hard copy of the book and worked out all the example problems. I wish that I had gone to his office hours more because he will give you hints for the exam, and he loves hard workers. He gives a good amount of homework, but the schedule is given to you at the beginning of the semester. Try to stay on top of all of it because the problems are helpful.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

i wouldn't recommend it. Extremely tough class

    Course highlights:

Material is interesting. I learned more about structural engineering such as truss and forces of the system.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of your hw without chegg. Use chegg as a guide but relying on chegg will hurt you when the test rolls around.
